Geothermal:

Energy costs are continuing to rise...

fortunately, there's a solution.

Geothermal heating and cooling comfort systems can aid you with a solution for helping to reduce heating and cooling costs.

A conventional geothermal heating and cooling system, with an average electric rate, will reduce heating and cooling costs by as much as 50% less than a system supplied by natural gas, and about 100% cheaper than a typical propane system. An average geothermal system costs about 50 cents per hour to operate for electric consumption, providing you with hot water, as well as heating and cooling for your domestic hot water needs.

How Geothermal Systems Work...

A geothermal comfort system is a heating and cooling unit that generates heat energy by using a series of loops (or piping) buried in the ground that is connected to a geothermal furnace located inside the home. These loops transfer heat to and from the earth and your home, offering the highest heating and cooling efficiencies of any system available today.

A geothermal furnace operates by circulating fluid as a heat transfer through the underground piping. That heat energy is carried from the ground to the fluid and then to the geothermal unit in heating operation mode or reversed, from the home into geothermal unit to the fluid and then into the ground, in the cooling operation mode.

Geothermal furnaces are simple forced air units, which may be installed in either new or existing homes, that provide quiet operation with energy efficient comfort year-round.

Vertical loop is the most common of loop systems and uses a much smaller area for the loop field.  The loops of a geothermal system provide the biggest advantage over ordinary heating and cooling technologies.

According the the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), geothermal systems are, "the most energy-efficient, environmentally clean, and cost-effective space conditioning systems available today."
